NB reports one new case of COVID-19 in the Fredericton zone. 24 active cases
Halifax-New Brunswick reports one new case of COVID-19 in the Fredericton region on Sunday. The three previously reported cases are now considered recovered, bringing the total number of active cases to 24.
Sunday’s new incident involves individuals in their thirties in the Fredericton region. Public health states that individuals are self-quarantined and the case is under investigation.
Three new cases were reported on Saturday. All in the Fredericton region, one under the age of 19 and two in their 50s were involved.
Breakdown of cases
New Brunswick has 354 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of these, 324 have recovered. Six people have died and 24 active cases remain in the state.
Two patients were hospitalized for the virus and no one was in the intensive care unit.
To date, 106,869 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick’s online dashboard contains information about the traffic of vehicles approaching the state.
On Saturday, 1,266 personal and 866 commercial vehicles attempted to cross the border into the state.
Of the vehicles trying to cross the border, 27 were denied entry with a 1.3% refusal rate.
