According to Dr. Sanjum Sethi, these incidences have become common throughout New York and COVID-19 patients are given anticoagulants to treat them. “We’re seeing many of these events and need to be investigated further,” Dr. Sethi said. He is an associate professor of medicine at the Irving Medical Center at Columbia University.
