Detroit Publishes Coronavirus Case Map in Zip Code
The City of Detroit released new health statistics on Friday — Number of confirmed COVID-19 cases by ZIP Code.
Northwest Detroit’s 48235 ZIP Code showed the highest infection rate in 162 cases per 10,000 inhabitants. The largest number of confirmed cases was 724 local residents.
“In all confirmed cases, it is estimated that there are more than 10 undetected infections, and even higher in some communities,” Dennis, Detroit’s Chief Health Officer. The fair says.
Citywide, There were 7,414 confirmed cases and 582 deaths due to COVID-19 complications.
Eleven postal codes had higher rates than the city-wide rate of 110 confirmed cases per 10,000 inhabitants.
