Onondaga County has the highest confirmed number of coronavirus cases per day since late March
Syracuse-New York County, New York confirmed 47 more cases Coronavirus Today, the best daily number since March 29th.
An increasing number of positive cases are coming, as the county was actively testing staff and residents of senior housing. Ron McMahon, an Onondaga County executive, said he expects more positive cases as the county continues to look for the virus in places where older people live.

Overall, the county now has 994 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Of these, 568 are women and 426 are men.
