Rocky Point Earthquakes: 3 reported in 1 hour

USGS data shows that the three quakes occurred within one hour.

PUERTO PENASCO, Sonora — The city of Puerto Peñasco, widely known as Rocky Point, was hit by three earthquakes on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

USGS data showed that all three quakes measured magnitude 4.0 or less and occurred within an hour.

Avoid stopping near buildings, trees, bridges and utility wires. Proceed with caution once the earthquake stops. Avoid bridges or slopes. If you use a wheelchair or use a walker, lock your wheels and remain seated until the shaking stops. If you are unable to fall, brace yourself and protect your head and neck. Protect your head and neck with your arms, a pillow, a book, or anything available
