Denmark records more infections with more infectious coronavirus mutants

Danish disease officials said Wednesday that the proportion of coronavirus cases containing more contagious mutants increased, despite a decrease in common infections.
Denmark has imposed strict blockades since mid-December to curb the rise of infections, especially the spread of more contagious variants that are expected to prevail by mid-February.
