The 58th edition of Art on the Square will take place on April 28
WILLIAMSBURG The Junior Womans Club of Williamsburg (JWCW) will hold its 58th edition of Art on the Placeshow on Sunday, April 28 along Duke of Gloucester Street and the P-4 parking lot in Colonial Williamsburg.
Art on the Square will feature 90 artists displaying works ranging from pottery and paintings to jewelry and ceramics, according to the club. Local food vendors including Cousins Maine Lobster, Old City BBQ and Polar Snow will be on site.
Westgate Historic Williamsburg Resort and Verizon are sponsoring this year's event.
Berryman with vegetableswill return as a featured artist with an original Welcoming Spring oil painting that will be raffled off at the event. Participants can purchase raffle tickets onlineand to the JWCW tent for your opportunity to win. JWCW will also sell commemorative poster prints of the original painting.
Proceeds from artists' exhibition fees, as well as raffle ticket and poster sales, benefit visual and performing arts organizations in the greater Williamsburg area, including the Richard E. DePaul Memorial Scholarship for JWCW Visual and Performing Arts.
