Falling In Reverse brings metal-rap show to Sterling Heights in September – Macomb Daily

Rap-metal rockers Falling In Reverse will bring their Popular Monstour II: World Domination tour to the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater in Sterling Heights on Sunday, September 15, promoters Live Nation announced Tuesday.

The Las Vegas-based trio also announced their new album, “Popular Monster,” their fifth record and first since 2017’s “Coming Home.” It’s scheduled for release in late July.

Additionally, Falling In Reverse released a video for new single “Ronald,” featuring Tech N9ne and Alex Terrible.

The band was formed in 2008 by singer Ronnie Radke, reportedly while he was in prison for a parole violation stemming from an initial accusation of having brass knuckles during an incident during where a man was shot. He spent two years behind bars.

Since then, the band has undergone several personnel changes, with Radke being the only remaining original member.

Falling In Reverse's catalog has accumulated 5 billion streams, including 1.7 billion for all single albums. On TikTok, the group has recorded some 5.7 billion video views.

For the September 15 show, the group will be joined by Dance Gavin Dance, Black Veil Brides, Tech N9ne and Jeris Johnson. Show time is 5:45 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. on 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com.

Citi cardholders will have access to the ticket presale, which began at noon today until 10 p.m. Thursday through the Citi Entertainment program.

The Michigan Lottery Amphitheater at Freedom Hill County Park is located at 14900 16 Mile Road (at Schoenherr Road) in Sterling Heights.
