PTI body vows to redouble efforts (Pakistan)

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Committee on Monday discussed various action plans in light of the instructions given by the jailed party's founding president Imran Khan to make the party a more political force. organized and formidable.

The meeting chaired by Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub also pledged to redouble efforts to ensure the early release of Imran Khan.

He said all elected representatives demanded to redouble efforts to ensure early release of Imran Khan and all other party workers and leaders, especially women who are languishing in jail in flimsy, fabricated and false.

He said the Supreme Court's decision regarding seats reserved for PTI was a beacon as these seats were unfairly and illegally distributed among other political parties.

He claimed that the top court's decision had even put a question mark on the already tainted legitimate elections of the President, Prime Minister and Chief Ministers.

He said that in the current situation, no foreign investors would invest in Pakistan despite the fact that Saudi Arabia currently has a high-level delegation in Pakistan.

However, he added that they welcomed the visit of the Saudi delegation to Pakistan despite the fact that the country is currently ruled by an unrepresentative government.

Shibli said that on one hand they were asking the IMF for a million dollar loan while on the other billions of rupees were being siphoned off through kickbacks in the wheat scandal, adding that all this had happened when unelected people were installed on the masses at gunpoint.
