“The View” panelists strongly disagreed on why Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election.

In a Hot Topics segment on Friday's episode, Joy Behar began by praising President Joe Biden for promising a peaceful transfer of power when Trump takes office, before noting that Democrats are publicly beginning to blame each other for the Vice President Kamala Harris' stunning loss.

“The lesson Democrats should learn is not, ‘We didn’t run far enough to the left,’” Alyssa Farah Griffin said. “They lost rural voters. They lost working class voters. She then said voters were more concerned about their immediate economic problems than the broader issues facing the country.

Behar went on to point out that it was Democrats who passed measures such as “social security, Medicare, Medicaid, union protection, unemployment insurance and Obamacare.” The Republican Party doesn't give a damn. Sara Haines said the way Democrats speak to their voters is “condescending.” “What I mean is, I don’t blame Joe Biden, or Kamala Harris. I blame a message within the Democratic Party,” she said.
