The Fayetteville Regional is hosted by the University of Arkansas and is one of four regional meets held nationally. The competition will take place at the Bud Walton Arena. The Gophers received the No. 15 overall seed. They will compete in the second round against No. 2 LSU, No. 18 Oregon State and the winner of the play-in game between Boise State and BYU on Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m.
At the other end of the regional bracket are No. 7 Arkansas, No. 10 Kentucky, No. 24 Arizona and Nebraska. The top two scores from each session will advance to the Regional Finals, which will take place on Saturday, April 6 at 5:00 PM CT. The top two teams from the regional finals will advance to the NCAA Championships April 18-20 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Gophers (16-6, 6-3 B1G) finish in second place at the 2024 Big Ten Championships with a score of 197.500. It was their second-highest finish among Big Ten under-10 head coaches Jenny Hansen (1st in 2021, 197,750).
Senior Mya Hoeten tied for Big Ten floor, uneven bars and vault titles (has won six Big Ten titles in his career). Sarah Moraw tied for the Big Ten balance beam title. It was the first time since 1989 that the Gopherst took home B1G titles in all four events.
