History Channel 'American Pickers' searches for rare items in Kansas
TOPEKA (KSNT) – A popular History Channel show set its sights on the Sunflower State in April in an ongoing search for rare and historic valuables.
“American Pickers” was announced earlier this week social media that it visits the states of Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas in June. Kansans are asked to check their belongings for possible items that could appear on a future episode of the show.
“The Pickers are looking for junkie, historical and unique hidden treasures in your states. Call/text or send us an email with more information about your collections. We want to know if you or someone you know has our next pick!! Remember, NO STORES are eligible, ONLY PRIVATE COLLECTIONS.”

This isn't the first time “American Pickers” have announced they will visit Kansas. In 2022the show announced that in another missing person case it would travel to Nebraska and Kansas to find interesting treasures.
The Sunflower State has appeared at least twice during the show's history. In 2013, the cast visited a Kansas junkyard full of old machinery and cars in the episode 'Bringing it forward.” Another episode in 2022: “Knucklehead Blue,” also saw the cast visit Kansas to browse a collection of vintage baseball cards, according to IMDb.
The show has a long track record on The History Channel 25 seasons with almost 400 episodes. Actors mention for the show include Mike Wolfe, Danielle Colby, Robbie Wolfe and Jersey Jon.
