Women's tennis falls to No. 61 in Iowa
IOWA CITY, Iowa The Penn State women's tennis team (5-14, 4-5 B1G) fell to No. 61 Iowa (10-10, 5-4 B1G), 4-0.
The Blues and Whites will play against Illinois again on Friday, April 19 at 3 p.m
DOUBLE
The Hawkeyes struck first and took the doubles point.
At number 2, Olivia Dorner And Yvonne Zuffova lost in their match against Barbara Pokorna and Pia Kranholdt 6-3.
Jordina Cegarra And Alina Lebedeva evened the matches by winning the match against Marisa Schmidt and Nikita Vishwase 6-3.
Top spot in doubles, Sofia Czechlystova And Karly Friedland lost a hard-fought match to Daianne Hayashida and Vipasha Mehra 7-6 (7-5) to ultimately drop the doubles point to the Nittany Lions.

Iowa won three singles matches with its victory over Penn State.
At number 1, Sofia Czechlystova lost her match to Daianne Hayashida 6-3, 6-3.
