Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and a Kremlin critic have been arrested after police returned to Russia. Navalny left his country last year after being poisoned with a nerve agent of the Novichok type – an attack he blames on Russian authorities. He flew from Germany to Russia, where he was receiving medical treatment, but was immediately arrested by police at a passport checkpoint.
