Months later, a gaping hole on the road to the International District is not repaired
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city of Albuquerque said a massive hole in a busy street would be repaired weeks ago. A neighborhood is still waiting as it watches the hole grow. Neighbors in the international district said that if they lived in another part of the city, this mess would be repaired. But according to the City, this is not the case.

"A subcontractor was carrying out work here at the end of December, they cut certain fiber optic lines and compromised the foundation of the traffic light," said CABQ municipal development ministry spokesperson Johnny Chandler.
In January, neighbors complained that it was taking too long to repair. "This is a mess," said a local woman.
