COVID-19: 26 new cases with no reported new deaths in Saskatchewan

The state says there is one case where residence information is on hold.

There have been 48,694 recovery from the virus and 287 are believed to be active.

According to the state, 59 people are hospitalized, 48 are inpatient and 11 are in intensive care. Three of the ICUs are in Regina and five are in Saskatoon.

The 7-day average of new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan is 30-2.5 new cases per 100,000.

According to the state, 1,744 COVID-19 tests were processed on Wednesday, bringing the total number of tests performed to 949,044.

74% of residents over the age of 12 are initially vaccinated and 60% of them are fully vaccinated.
