Weight Loss Story: “I avoided wheat altogether and ate tofu, yogurt, or buttermilk daily.”
My breakfast: We have shifted our focus to a sustainable diet that is easy to follow without giving up. I don’t believe in trendy diets, so I made sure that the diet was customized to my needs.
My breakfast included eggs (boiled, omelets, scrambled eggs) and a good source of complex carbohydrates and healthy fats such as ghee, butter and cheese. Also, in the morning, I drank coconut water and watermelon to rehydrate.
My lunch: For lunch, I ate chapati made of vajra, joir, or multigrain (wheat was completely avoided). In addition, we used green vegetables, salad bowls, and probiotics such as curds, yogurt, and buttermilk to increase the number of gut bacteria and improve the digestive process.
My dinner: At night, I had legumes and grains to maintain my daily protein intake levels. During my weight loss journey, I never skipped a meal or tried to eat less. The mantra of my weight was to eat properly, not to eat less. It helped me a lot.
After dinner, when I wanted dessert, I covered my homemade sugar-free date balls with dark chocolate.
