IDNR recommends temporarily not using feeders and bird baths
Peoria, Illinois (WMBD) —The Department of Natural Resources, Illinois (IDNR) has urged the general public to bring a bird bath and bait box due to the increasing number of cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the Midwest.
IDNR also focuses on areas visited by waterfowl.

The recommendations are temporary and are set to end at the end of May or until the Midwest incident is settled.
