CDC Director warns of major public health complications if the public does not take influenza and COVID-19 seriously
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is struggling to ensure that the fall pandemic and the spread of COVID-19 in the United States ensure a sufficient supply of influenza vaccine and increase public trust.

Redfield said he urged doctors to strongly recommend the influenza vaccine to patients throughout the year and should administer the vaccine whenever possible.
