Over 500,000 Utahns are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
As a result of the coronavirus, three more Utans die.

A whopping 46,011 Utahns were vaccinated against the coronavirus on Thursday as the state exceeded 500,000 fully vaccinated people. A total of more than 1.4 million doses were administered.
The Utah Department of Health also reported 487 new COVID-19 cases and three more deaths, bringing the state to deaths at 2,125.
Vaccine dose given in the last day / total dose given • 46,011 / 1,410,214.
Fully vaccinated Utahns • 521,686.
Cases reported in the last day • 487.
Deaths reported in the last day • three. All were 65-84 years old, male in Salt Lake County, female in Washington County, and female in Weber County.
Tests reported in the last day • 7,661 people were tested for the first time. A total of 18,760 people were tested.
Hospitalizations reported in the last day • 136. It’s one From Wednesday. Of the patients currently hospitalized, 50 are in the intensive care unit. There are 6 fewer people than Wednesday.
Percentage of positive tests • The state-specific method is 6.4%. This is slightly lower than the 7-day average of 6.8%.
The state’s new method counts all test results, including repeated tests for the same individual. Thursday’s rate was 2.6%, lower than the 7-day average of 3.4%.
