Actor Raimohan Parida died of asphyxiation following a hanging, according to an autopsy report
The police station has received the autopsy report of Ollywood actor Raimohan Parida, who was recently found hanged in his home.
The autopsy report confirmed that the actor died of asphyxiation due to hanging with a rope, sources at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar have informed.
According to the report, the minor injuries on his body were caused when the actor attempted to hang himself.
A team of doctors and other staff from the capital’s hospital carried out the autopsy report, which was handed over to the police station.
Meanwhile, the viscera report, which is being prepared by a lab, is expected to find out that the time Raimohan was drunk or under an alcohol spell.
After receiving the report, the police station will advance the investigation of the case.
According to Bhubaneswar DCP, Raimohan was in depression. The actor also went to the police station in Manchewar for personal work and got engaged.
According to police sources, an investigation has been opened to find out the reason for Raimohan’s depression.
The famous Odia film actor and jatra artist was found hanged on Friday at his residence in Prachi Vihar district of Bhubaneswar. Previously, it was suspected that the actor ended his life by suicide while the reason for such an extreme measure is yet to be determined.
The police have already questioned the two daughters, son-in-law, wife and nephew of Parida in this regard. Even Parida’s mobile phone was seized and handed over to the technical team for analysis.
