Vice President Gibran Rakabuming sends President Prabowo on foreign trip
Vice President Gibran Rakabuming sent President Prabowo Subianto on his first overseas working visit on Friday, November 8, 2024 to Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta.
During this visit, President Prabowo Subianto will visit several countries to hold bilateral and multilateral meetings. The President said the meeting would discuss a number of important issues ranging from economics to global geopolitics.
I think Indonesia's role and attitude are eagerly awaited by many parties. “I think it is an honor for us and we will maintain good relations with all parties,” the president said in his statement before his departure.
Several countries the president will visit include the People's Republic of China (PRC), the United States, Lima in Peru and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
On this occasion, the President also advised all levels of the Red and White Cabinet to execute the government program prepared during his visit abroad.
This series of visits is expected to be an important step in making Indonesia a strategic partner on the international stage.
