ISLAMABAD (Press Office) – Awami Muslim League leader and former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has revealed a brief but emotional meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Rashid shared that Imran Khan warmly embraced him saying, “You and I are one?

Rashid also mentioned his 40-day detention, saying he had not suffered any torture during that time.

Commenting on national issues, he asserted that “even if Shehbaz Sharif is a mere figurehead, someone else is behind the ongoing affairs.”

He further highlighted the role of overseas Pakistanis in saving the country's economy, recalling his own efforts to defend their right to vote.
