Minnesota Wild News: Changing Wild Jersey Colors?
Rumors are rumors and we are definitely in the middle of the crazy season of hockey rumors. But as we expected some reports from teams interested in players from other teams about a month before the NHL Trade Deadlinewere not used to rumors about what some teams look like on the ice.
It’s probably nothing but nonsense, but ESPN’s Kevin Weekes decided to let slip that our Minnesota Wild may be planning to switch to the North Stars-influenced colors, like what their Reverse Retro sweaters have been.
It hasn’t been referenced or rumored anywhere else, so let’s take it with some huge heaps of salt, but that said, losing the identity-defining forest green would take quite a bit of time to get used to.
Other teams in the league Calgary flamesthe Senators from Ottawathe buffalo sabers have reverted to earlier looks as their normal uniform, but the Wild never wore these colors. It was the other Minnesota team that is technically elsewhere.
It would be weird.

It looks like this isn’t going to be a color overhaul, but what is now their Reverse Retro jersey will stick around in the jersey rotation. Will it now be the full-time third they are expected to announce for next season, or are we looking forward to it four options in the future? That’s the question now.
