Coronavirus – Levels seen near UK deaths in Italy and Spain – BBC News

 



The UK has suffered the most deaths from coronaviruses. The virus has killed 938 more people in the hospital over the past 24 hours, near the worst levels seen in Italy and Spain. He said Prime Minister Boris Johnson was “improving” as he prepared to spend the third night in intensive care. Downing Street said it was “sitting in bed and working in a positive way” with staff at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. In the meantime, scientists have been questioning whether the government can meet its target of 100,000 coronavirus tests per day.
