Pa. COVID-19 cases, hospitalization will decrease again on Saturday
Pennsylvania registered 4,366 new COVID-19 infections on Saturday. This is because the average of new cases over 7 days continued to decline from early October levels.
According to Johns Hopkins follow-up, the average 7-day new case in Pennsylvania was 4,185 as of Friday, exceeding 5,000 in early October.
As of Saturday morning, Pennsylvania hospitals were treating 2,704 COVID-19 patients, down from 2,738 on Friday to more than 3,000 two weeks ago.
The state recorded 36 new deaths on Saturday, increasing the number of pandemic deaths to 31,413.
The average of Pennsylvania’s seven-day new COVID-19 deaths continues to rise, reaching 100 on Friday.
