Candace Owens’ reaction to Trump praising the Chinese education system might be the funniest thing you see today

Former US President Donald Trump recently took part in an interview with conservative commentator Candace Owens for The Daily Wire.

Understandably, most of the talking points were about the pandemic and the Covid vaccines that the 45th POTUS defended much to Owens’ dismay – who has since rejected Trump’s comments because he’s not online.

However, another part of the interview that caught people’s attention is Trump’s comparison of the American and Chinese education systems.

While discussing the topic of dividing up Covid restrictions in U.S. schools, Trump admitted that he didn’t like seeing students wearing masks in class that Owens compared to China.

Trump seemed a little baffled by Owens’ comment and retorted: China’s education system is much better than ours, he joked.

The 75-year-old then added: You know what, they’re ranked two or three (in the world) and we’re ranked 44. Trump’s unique statistic elicited a surprised look from Owens who couldn’t quite get it. believing that she had just heard the MAGA the president defends another country against his own.

This small moment of the interview has since gone viral, with many struggling not to find Owenss’ reaction hilarious and floored by Trump trying to use a real state.

While you may find it amusing that Trump is so critical of an education system he chaired for four years, it’s hard to find statistics that support Trump’s comments.

According to the World Population Review, the United States actually has the best education system in the world, with China ranking 22nd.

It’s unclear where Trump got these numbers from, but there’s no doubt it made some faces smile.
