NA3HL Announces New Team in Lewiston Maine | North American Tier III Hockey League

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced it has terminated membership in the Maine Jr. Nordiques has approved. The Jr. Nordiques will be based in Lewiston, Maine and will play in the East Division of the NA3HL beginning with the 2024-2025 season.
“It's great to see the East continue to grow at the NA3HL level,” said NAHL Commissioner Mark Frankenfeld. “Having both the NAHL and NA3HL teams under the same roof is very beneficial to the player's ability to develop and progress. Not only does the NA3HL bring hundreds of players straight to college, but we are also seeing more and more players move on to the NAHL and onto the NCAA DI level. With the standards the Nordiques have already set in the NAHL, I think they will play a big role in promoting players from their NA3HL team.
The Jr. Nordiques will have subtle differences in their colors, logo and uniforms from the Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Both teams will share the same home in Lewiston, ME at The Colisée.

The Jr. Nordiques will immediately begin building their roster, using the NA3HL Draft, scheduled for April 24.
The NA3HL will enter its 14th season during the 2024-2025 season. It is USA Hockey's only sanctioned Tier III junior hockey league.
